Wall Street Analysts Turn Bullish: Top Stocks Get Upgrade
Several top Wall Street analysts have upgraded their ratings on various stocks this week. One of the most notable upgrades was made by Morgan Stanley's Terence Flynn, who increased his rating for Merck & Co Inc (NYSE:MRK) from Equal-Weight to Overweight and boosted the price target from $116 to $179.
The upgrade comes as Merck shares closed at $152.20 on Wednesday. This change is significant as it indicates a higher potential return on investment for investors considering buying MRK stock.
Other analysts who made notable upgrades include Keefe, Bruyette & Woods' Meyer Shields, who upgraded Progressive Corp (NYSE:PGR) from Market Perform to Outperform and raised the price target from $226 to $250. Shields also increased his rating for EPR Properties (NYSE:EPR), moving it from Sector Weight to Overweight with a $70 price target.
Additionally, B of A Securities' Curtis Nagle upgraded Etsy Inc (NYSE:ETSY) from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $88 to $105. Finally, Seaport Global's Jay Goldberg upgraded Analog Devices Inc (NASDAQ:ADI) from Neutral to Buy with a $425 price target.
