Wall Street Banks Vie for Anthropic Employee Wealth Management Business
Major Wall Street banks are vying to manage the wealth of Anthropic PBC employees after the company's planned initial public offering (IPO), according to a report by Bloomberg.
The developer of Claude, an artificial intelligence technology, has asked financial firms to present their wealth-management offerings and provide information about fees, services, and operational details, the report said. Banks such as Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Bank of America Corp., Bank of New York Mellon Corp.'s wealth unit, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Wells Fargo & Co. have held discussions with Anthropic about providing wealth management services to its staff.
In preparation for the IPO, Anthropic is compiling a list of advisers to help employees manage their expected financial gains after the public listing.
