Wall Street Firms Jockey for Anthropic Staff Financial Management Roles
Wall Street firms are vying for the chance to manage the finances of Anthropic staff members following the artificial intelligence developer's anticipated initial public offering (IPO).
In a formal request for information, Anthropic invited wealth managers and boutique advisory firms to submit details on their fee structures, operational capacities, and service packages.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS), Bank of America Corp. (BAC), JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM), Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC), and Bank of New York Mellon Corp.'s (BNY) wealth division are among the major institutions participating in the process.
The IPO is expected to unlock extraordinary wealth for startup personnel who acquired equity relatively recently, with Brandon Smith of advisory firm Laird Norton Wetherby noting that 'it is equivalent to a lottery ticket.'
