Wall Street Stocks Trade Mixed Amid Earnings Reports
The US stock market has settled down after a strong start to the week, with Wall Street stocks trading mixed on Thursday morning. The S&P 500 gained 0.2%, remaining close to its record high reached on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 21 points, or less than 0.1%, while the Nasdaq composite advanced 0.2%.
The market's movement is largely driven by corporate earnings reports from companies across various industries. Keurig Dr Pepper climbed 1% after exceeding analysts' expectations with its quarterly earnings and revenue. Molson Coors also rose 1% following positive financial results.
However, not all companies fared well. Honeywell Aerospace plunged 21% after reporting results that fell short of market forecasts. Digital advertising company AppLovin dropped 19.6% due to mixed quarterly financial results.
