Walmart Sees Increased Institutional Support Following Strong Earnings Report

Jupiter Wealth Management LLC, a financial services firm, has acquired a new stake in Walmart Inc. (NASDAQ:WMT) through its most recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The firm purchased 11,632 shares of Walmart's stock during the second quarter, valued at approximately $1,317,000.

This is not an isolated incident, as several other institutional investors have also added to or reduced their stakes in Walmart. Vise Technologies Inc., for example, purchased a new stake in Walmart worth around $49,287,000 during the same period.

Walmart's latest quarter exceeded expectations, with adjusted earnings of $0.81 per share versus roughly $0.74 expected and revenue of $187.94 billion, up 5.9% year over year.
