Walt Disney Archives Unveils Rare Treasures at D23 2026
The Walt Disney Archives has brought its vast collection of props, costumes, and other treasures to the D23 2026 convention. The exhibition takes fans on a journey through Disney's film, television, animation, and theme park history.
The Archives team has carefully 'uncrated' artifacts from film, television, and theme parks for fans to get an upclose look at. Various props and costumes are on display, including items from ABC's 'How I Met Your Mother', the live-action '101 Dalmatians', Disney Channel hits 'Hannah Montana' and 'High School Musical', and more.
The 'Magical Relics' room features enchanted props and items from various Disney film and television projects. Props from 'Maleficent', 'Once Upon a Time', and 'Willow' are among the many on display, as well as Mary Poppins' iconic bag and magic wands from various productions.
One of the most interesting aspects of the exhibit is its potential for a permanent museum where these items can be displayed for the public to enjoy. The Walt Disney Archives has long been a treasure trove of Disney history, and it's high time that some of these treasures are made available to fans around the world.
