Warner Bros. Alum Joins Disney as Deputy General Counsel

Disney has welcomed a new executive from Warner Bros. Discovery as Dan Weinberger joins The Walt Disney Company in a key role.

Weinberger, who spent nearly two decades at Warner Bros., will be taking on the position of deputy general counsel, focusing on corporate transactions.

At WB, he was senior vice president of business and legal affairs, with mergers and acquisitions being one of his primary responsibilities.

Weinberger played a significant role in the sale of Time Warner to AT&T in 2018 and the merger of Warner Media and Discovery in 2022.
