Wedmont Private Capital Doubles Down on Visa Inc.

Wedmont Private Capital increased its stake in Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) by 30.5% during the second quarter, according to a recent SEC filing.

The institutional investor purchased an additional 8,094 shares of the credit-card processor's stock during the quarter, bringing its total holdings to 34,628 shares worth $12,084,000 at the end of the period.

Wedmont Private Capital is not alone in increasing its stake in Visa. Other large investors, such as Brighton Jones LLC and Revolve Wealth Partners LLC, also boosted their holdings in the company during the second quarter.
