Westpac Bets Big on American Express with $1.26 Million Investment
Westpac Banking Corp has invested $1.26 million in American Express Company by purchasing 3,721 shares of its stock.
The investment was made in the second quarter, according to Westpac's most recent Form 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
This is not an isolated instance, as several other hedge funds have also recently made changes to their positions in American Express.
Cornerstone Advisory LLC increased its holdings by 2.9% in the fourth quarter, while Total Clarity Wealth Management Inc. lifted its position by 3.4% during the same period.
