White House Arcade Site Uses Sonic, Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft Assets
The White House promoted its new 'Arcade' website by posting videos featuring music and visuals from various popular games, including Sega Genesis, Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS. The initial post included the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog song 'Green Hill Zone.'
The video featured a caption that read: 'CAN'T STOP WINNING. Build the wall. Deport. Fill a Trump Account. LIVE - PLAY NOW.' However, the first video also included offensive imagery.
The linked website has five games: 'Flappy Bill,' 'Build the Wall,' 'Rio Run,' 'Supply Line,' and 'Trump Savings Tycoon.'
Some of these games bear resemblance to popular titles like Flappy Bird, Tetris, Snake, and Tapper. The Tetris Company stated that it was not involved in the making of 'Build the Wall' and takes copyright infringement seriously.
