Windows 11 26H2 Update Arrives Without a Flagship Surface Device
Microsoft is gearing up to release Windows 11 version 26H2, which includes several UI changes and under-the-hood improvements. The update has been made available in the Release Preview Channel and will roll out to the general public in a few weeks.
The new features include the ability to move the Taskbar, resize the Start menu, and disable web and Store suggestions. However, some are questioning why Microsoft hasn't announced any new Surface hardware to showcase these improvements.
Microsoft has historically used its flagship devices to highlight the capabilities of Windows 11, but it seems that this time around there won't be a major marketing push. The company's teams often don't communicate well enough to create a unified design across its various products and services, leading to inconsistencies in user experience.
