Microsoft is quietly working on a redesigned mouse cursor for Windows 11.

A new, symmetrical design has been spotted in recent Insider Preview builds, featuring softer rounded corners and a wider shape.

The redesign is part of Microsoft's efforts to modernize Windows 11's visual identity, which includes retiring UI relics from Windows 95 and boosting system speed and stability.

No official release date for the updated cursor has been announced yet.
