Windows 11 Gets Major Performance Boost with Redesigned Right-Click Menu

Microsoft continues to work on improving Windows 11's performance and user interface. The latest Insider Experimental Preview build, number 26340.9212, includes a revamped right-click menu in File Explorer that should be faster and more organized.

The new design places options added by app extensions into their own customizable dropdown menu, decluttering the menu significantly.

Other changes include fixes for a banding issue with image previews in File Explorer and various improvements across Windows 11. These include new Get Started screens, a modernized Magnifier tool, and an update to Emoji 17.0 that includes redesigned classic emojis.
