Windows 11: Microsoft's Latest Upgrade to Its Popular Desktop OS
Microsoft has released Windows 11, an upgraded version of its popular desktop operating system. The new OS boasts a streamlined look and improved performance, but some features are still lacking.
The most notable change in Windows 11 is its revamped interface, which now includes rounded corners, a centered taskbar, and translucent textures. This design overhaul aims to provide a more cohesive user experience, reminiscent of ChromeOS.
However, the AI features that were initially hyped have not yet lived up to expectations. While Microsoft has made significant updates to its operating system, including improvements to the Start menu and File Explorer, these new additions are not as exciting as they could be.
The system requirements for Windows 11 remain low on paper, with a 1 GHz CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage required. However, in practice, users may encounter issues if their computer's CPU model is from before 2018 or lacks a TPM security chip.
