Windows 11 Version 26H2 Brings Redesigned Taskbar and Search Overhaul
Microsoft has released the final preview of Windows 11 version 26H2, which brings significant changes to the Taskbar and Start Menu. One of the major features enabled by default with this update is a redesigned Taskbar that can be moved to any edge of the screen.
The new Taskbar design also allows users to customize the visuals of the Start menu and other elements. Additionally, Windows 11 Search ads can now be removed entirely.
Other improvements include customized search results, allowing users to only see their desired outcomes, and an overhaul of File Explorer and the Right-Click Menu. The focus is on reducing stutter or hitches in performance.
