Women Leaders Emphasize Emotional Intelligence and Curiosity at Trailblazing Summit
The Trailblazing Women Summit 2026 brought together leaders from various industries to discuss navigating careers, breaking barriers, and shaping the future of tech.
Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson and CEO of Salesforce India, reflected on how far corporate representation has come in India, which produces 43% of the world's female STEM graduates.
Bhattacharya emphasized that while women are underrepresented in senior leadership roles, it is essential to focus on developing emotional intelligence, which is becoming increasingly valuable as AI takes over more tasks.
She stated, 'Empathy is your superpower. Women have been in the listener's role for millennia, that ability to truly hear people, to understand what they're going through and respond with care, is a profound strength.'
The speakers also emphasized the importance of curiosity, investing in oneself, measuring success by how far ahead one can see, and scaling people strategy as fast as tech.
