Wonderful Rises to $5B Valuation After $550M Funding Push

Wonderful, an artificial intelligence startup founded last year, has secured $550 million in Series C funding at a valuation of $5 billion. The fresh capital will support the company's global expansion and hiring efforts.

The startup aims to grow its workforce from around 650 employees to 1,000, adding approximately 350 people. This significant increase is notable given Wonderful's short history and rapid growth.

Insight Partners led the Series C round with $150 million, while Salesforce was the only new investor in the financing. The remaining capital came from previous backers, including Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
