WorkGlovesDepot Marks 40 Years as Family Business Continues to Thrive
Steven Pan's family business, G&F Products, has reached a significant milestone - 40 years in operation. Founded by his parents in China in 1985, the company moved to New York with the Pan family in 1996 and later relocated to Croydon in the early 2000s.
Today, WorkGlovesDepot, doing business as G&F Products, is thriving from its 60,000-square-foot warehouse at 920 Levick St. The company has established strong relationships with big-box retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Home Depot, as well as direct sales to various companies across the country.
Pan, who took over the business in 2007, attributes the company's success to its ability to adapt to changing market conditions, including a significant boost from e-commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a diverse product line that includes gloves for gardeners and hunters, safety vests, tool bags, and more, G&F Products has carved out a niche in the industry.
Looking ahead, Pan hopes to leverage artificial intelligence to improve marketing and efficiency, as well as explore tax incentives to bring some production back to the United States. With room to expand within its current warehouse, the company is poised for continued growth and success.
