The Manchester band WU LYF returned to the stage after a brief hiatus and performed their first-ever show in Portland, Oregon. The concert took place at the Aladdin Theater on July 29th, 2026.

The band's refusal to follow traditional structures both helped and hurt them as they performed live. Despite being somewhat undersold, the fans who did turn up were fervent and enthusiastic. Many yelled thanks throughout the show for coming to town while others shouted for the band to come back soon.

Singer Ellery Roberts took the stage dressed in a tight white flannel and wearing baggy Sherwin-Williams pants covered in paint splatter, exuding an enigmatic star quality as he danced to the music. The 12-song setlist ran a brisk 75 minutes, splitting neatly between their debut album Go Tell Fire to the Mountain and their sophomore record A Wave That Will Never Break.
