Xbox Disc-to-Digital Converts Delisted Games into Digital Versions

Microsoft's Xbox Disc-to-Digital program has surprised many with its ability to convert delisted games into digital versions that can be played on various devices. The feature, which is currently available to Xbox Insiders in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, allows users to insert a physical game disc into their console and add a digitally playable version to their account.

Users have reported success with many delisted games, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Ghostbusters, and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. However, some titles, such as Dead Rising 3 and Destiny, are not working at this time.

It's unclear whether this is an intentional behavior on Microsoft's part or a coincidence, but the company has yet to confirm its plans for the program. The feature is expected to expand beyond Insiders in the coming months, and users can expect more titles to be added to the list of compatible games.
