Xbox Live Server Outage Hits Thousands of Players Worldwide
Xbox Live is experiencing a massive server outage on September 2, leaving thousands of players unable to sign in or launch their games. The issues are affecting console, PC, and mobile users, with many encountering errors when attempting to access game libraries, launch games, or connect to online multiplayer services.
Microsoft has confirmed the outage and stated that engineers are actively working to resolve it. According to a post on X by Xbox Support, 'We are aware that some users are encountering errors when attempting to sign in, see your game library, or launch games. Our engineers are actively working to resolve this.'
The company has not revealed what caused the outage or when services will be fully restored. Players can try restarting their console and signing back into their Microsoft account, but deleting games, resetting consoles, or making major account changes will not fix the server-side issue.
