Xbox OG Green Controller Launches October 20 with Premium Price Tag

A special edition Xbox controller is set to launch on October 20, 2026, priced at $79.99 in the US, £74.99 in the UK, and €79.99 in Europe.

The Xbox Wireless Controller Special Edition X25 features a translucent green shell reminiscent of the original 2001 console, and will be available for preorder on August 26.

This launch coincides with Microsoft's broader 25th-anniversary push for the Xbox brand, which began in June with the announcement of a limited-edition Xbox Series X console.
