Xbox Rolls Out Disc-to-Digital Program for Insiders

Microsoft is rolling out its Disc-to-Digital Program for Xbox Insiders on August 31. The feature allows players to digitize their physical game discs, which can then be used across various devices in the Xbox ecosystem.

The program supports thousands of games at launch and more will be added later. Players can insert a supported disc into an Xbox One or Series X console, claim a digital entitlement for the game via their Xbox account, and access it on any compatible device.

Microsoft says this move is part of its commitment to game preservation and gives gamers flexibility in how they access and play supported games across the Xbox ecosystem.
