Xbox Unveils Gears of War: E-Day Controllers as Gaming Community Prepares for Emergence Day

The gaming world is abuzz with excitement as Microsoft and Xbox prepare to release Gears of War: E-Day, a new title that revisits one of gaming's most iconic sagas.

To commemorate this milestone, two limited edition Xbox Wireless Controllers are being released, the Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition controller and its customizable counterpart available through the XBOX Design Lab.

The Gears of War: E-Day Limited Edition controller is a nod to the brutal conflict between the COG and the Locust Horde, featuring 3D molded details of cracked asphalt with red, glowing cracks created by the power of an erupting E-hole. The design also includes blacked-out ABXY buttons punctuated by a transparent red X button, matching red triggers, and a dark silver metallic COG tag on the battery door.

For those who want to create their own unique controller, the XBOX Design Lab offers a range of customization options, including exclusive artwork from renowned heavy metal illustrator Luke Preece. Fans can design their own Gears-inspired controller with upgrades such as metallic triggers and D-pads, rubberized side and back grips, and personalized engravings.
