Yacht and Beach Club Boat Dock Reopens After Extended Refurbishment
The Yacht and Beach Club resorts at Disney World have reopened their boat dock after an extended refurbishment period. The dock, which offers complimentary boat transportation to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, was closed last week but is now back in business.
Guests can once again catch a ride on the FriendShip Boats from Yacht and Beach Club to various destinations around the Disney World resort. The refurbished dock features three shades of wood instead of two, with some speculating that the new wood may be stained to match the original color.
The reopening of the boat dock is welcome news for fans of the resorts' nautical theme and those who enjoy taking in the scenic views of the lighthouse from the dock. With the refurbishment now complete, visitors can once again take advantage of this convenient transportation option.
