Yavapai College Students Receive Scholarships from Coca-Cola and Chime Workforce
Three students from Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona have been awarded academic scholarships. Nadia Mouawad and Lindsay Winfrey were named 2026 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholars by Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society. They will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to help defray educational expenses while enrolled in associate degree programs.
The Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship Program encourages new PTK members to assume leadership roles through participation in Society programs and selects scholars based on scholastic achievement, community service, and leadership potential. Mouawad expressed her gratitude for the recognition: 'I am incredibly proud of this great achievement. I work extremely hard in school, PTK, and volunteering in my local community.'
Robert Kerslake was also recognized as a 2026 Chime Workforce Scholar. He joins 200 students nationwide who have been awarded $1,000 scholarships to help cover educational expenses while completing a certificate or associate degree that prepares them for high-demand careers.
