YouTube Stations Expands to More Content Formats
Google has expanded its YouTube Stations experiment to include more content formats.
The feature, similar to streaming TV, offers a continuous stream of curated videos. Google says it's going well and is now including additional formats like creator content, media channels, podcasts, and select new music artists.
Stations let users watch collections of videos from their favorite creators as an always-on, lean-back viewing experience. They can also engage in real-time with other fans in live chat, making it feel like a shared viewing room.
The feature is available to all users globally, except for Portugal, Switzerland, and Turkey. For creators, the experiment starts with a limited number of new creators, but Google will keep them updated on any expansions.
