$21B Abadi LNG Project in Indonesia Takes Step Forward with Worley FEED Completion
Australia-based engineering firm Worley has delivered front-end engineering designs (FEEDs) for two critical infrastructure packages related to Inpex's Abadi LNG project in Indonesia. The project, operated by Inpex Masela, a subsidiary of Japan's Inpex, is expected to contribute to Indonesia's energy security and support its net zero 2060 goals.
The FEEDs were delivered for two key offshore infrastructure packages in the Masela Block, covering approximately 150 kilometers of subsea infrastructure, gas export pipelines, and CCS pipelines. Worley's scope included developing an integrated infrastructure concept that brings together subsea facilities, gas export pipelines, and CCS pipelines, supporting a coordinated approach to strengthen energy security while supporting lower-carbon outcomes.
