$40 Billion in Energy Commitments at Gastech 2026 as Asia Takes Centre Stage

Gastech 2026, an international energy conference, wrapped up in Bangkok with $40 billion in energy commitments from various countries. The agreements cover LNG supply, gas-fired power generation, upstream development, petrochemicals, and shipping.

A major agreement was signed between China Gas Holdings and US producer Venture Global for a 20-year LNG sales and purchase deal. Under this contract, Venture Global will supply 500,000 tonnes of LNG per year from 2030.
