Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded 129 contracts worth around $7.2 billion in the first half of 2026 as part of its efforts to boost oil production capacity and modernize oilfield infrastructure.

The contracts cover a range of services, including drilling and well maintenance, flowline construction, cementing and testing, technical consultancy, cybersecurity, medical services, and operational support. This investment is in line with Kuwait's strategy to increase crude production capacity.

Among the largest awards was the integrated Mutriba project valued at 466.6 million dinars, alongside a 174.2 million dinar contract for flowline construction and related works. KOC also awarded contracts for employee health insurance and infrastructure projects at the Wadi Al Ahmadi Research Center.
