AD Ports Group finalizes US$835 million CLI acquisition in Brazil
AD Ports Group has finalized the acquisition of Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI), a Brazilian Agri-bulk port terminal operator, for an enterprise value of AED 3.1 billion (US$835 million). The deal, announced on June 2, 2026, received regulatory approvals from Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense. This acquisition marks the largest in AD Ports Group’s history.
CLI operates two key Agri-bulk export terminals: CLI Sul at the Port of Santos and CLI Norte at the Port of Itaqui. These terminals handle major agricultural exports like sugar, corn, and soybeans, connecting Brazil’s production regions to global markets. The acquisition also represents AD Ports Group’s first entry into South America.
Mohammed Al Tamimi, CEO of Noatum Ports (AD Ports Group), highlighted the strategic importance of the deal, noting it strengthens the group’s presence in a critical agricultural export market. Fernando Lohmann of Macquarie Asset Management praised CLI’s competitive position and growth, while Paulo Todescan L. Mattos of IG4 Capital Group expressed confidence in AD Ports Group’s ability to support CLI’s long-term growth.
