Al Dahra Agriculture Trading (ADAT), part of Abu Dhabi-headquartered Al Dahra Holding, has finalized a five-year wheat supply agreement with Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC). The deal was signed at the Cabinet of Ministers Headquarters in El Alamein, Egypt.

The agreement sets out parameters for delivering imported wheat to GASC under the financing mechanism backed by the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX).

Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chief Corporate Affairs and Interim Chief People Officer at Al Dahra, noted that this achievement signals operational execution, enduring resilience, and alliances ensuring vital food commodities reach communities reliant on them.

The arrangement draws on ADAT's long track record of handling large-scale procurement needs through its worldwide agricultural network. The company has a presence in over 40 countries, including Egypt since 2007, where it operates one of the nation's biggest privately run farming operations.
