Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) is planning to link its second crude oil pipeline to Fujairah directly from offshore production, in a move aimed at reducing its dependence on exports through the Strait of Hormuz.

The company's second pipeline has a capacity of 1.5 million barrels per day and will connect with existing infrastructure to enable direct loading of oil onto ships.

This development is significant as it will allow Adnoc to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, which has been a chokepoint for oil exports in recent years due to geopolitical tensions.
