Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has secured a multi-year agreement to supply nearly 2 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Thailand's Gulf Group. The deal, announced on Monday, will begin deliveries in 2027. This agreement follows an earlier LNG supply deal signed in 2025, as ADNOC continues to expand its LNG business in Asia.

Under the new agreement, ADNOC Trading will handle the LNG supply to Gulf Group, a Thai energy and infrastructure company. Nasser Al Muhairi, acting CEO of ADNOC Downstream Industry, Marketing & Trading, emphasized the company's commitment to ensuring reliable energy supplies to Thailand and other Asian customers.

ADNOC recently launched its global LNG marketing and trading platform in Abu Dhabi, consolidating its LNG operations under a single platform. The company aims to have 47 million tonnes per year of marketable LNG beyond 2030 as part of its global gas business expansion. ADNOC Trading, with offices in Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and Geneva, manages the company's LNG trading activities.
