OPEC+ will review global oil-market conditions and production compliance at its joint ministerial monitoring committee meeting on October 4. The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies have agreed to maintain the September 2026 required production levels for October, effectively pausing further output increases.

In related news, Nigeria will seek to attract fresh investment into its gas industry at the 2026 gas investment forum in Lagos. The event will focus on accelerating gas production, investment and execution, Nigerian content, midstream and downstream infrastructure and the development of the domestic gas market.
