Agricultural Markets Close on October 1st with Mixed Results
The agricultural markets have closed for Thursday, October 1st. The Corn Futures saw December up by 1 at $5.02 and March up a half at $5.16.
Soybean Futures were down with November down 9 at $12.83 and January down 9 at $12.99.
The Wheat Futures saw an increase, with December up 6 at $6.81 and March up 4 at $6.95.
Live Cattle Futures rose significantly, with October up 67 at $219.35 and December up 65 at $223.35. Feeder Cattle Futures also increased, with October up 287 at $339.30 and November up 245 at $336.75.
The Wanstead Farmer's Co-operative reported the following prices: 2026 Crop Corn was up 1 at $6.42/BU, while 2027 Crop Corn was up a half at $6.43/BU. The 2026 Crop Soybeans were down 9 at $17.04/BU, and 2027 Crop Soybeans were down 3 at $16.26/BU.
The Great Lakes Grain in Mitchell reported similar prices: 2026 Crop Corn was up 1 at $6.42/BU, while 2027 Crop Corn was up a half at $6.32/BU. The 2026 Crop Soybeans were down 9 at $17.09/BU, and 2027 Crop Soybeans were down 3 at $16.26/BU.
