AIC Mines Sees 29% Revenue Surge on Strong Copper Prices
AIC Mines Limited reported a significant surge in revenue and net profit for the recent period, driven by strong copper and gold prices. Revenue rose 29% to $245.2 million, while net profit after tax jumped 177% to $41.5 million.
The company attributed this growth to its operational performance, as well as higher copper and gold prices in the market. AIC Mines also made a major capital investment in expanding the Eloise plant and developing the Jericho mine.
This is the first time that climate-related risks and opportunities have been disclosed by AIC Mines under Australian Accounting Standard S2 (AASB S2). The company's financial statements for this period are now available to the public.
