Alberta Man Passes Away at 70 Years Old

Darwin Lorrie Tarrant, a 70-year-old resident of Olds, Alberta, passed away on September 12, 2026. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta on April 16, 1956.

Tarrant spent his childhood living in Didsbury and Victoria, British Columbia, before returning to Didsbury with his family. After graduating from high school in 1974, he moved to Calgary for work but eventually settled back in Didsbury, where he married his wife Marilyn on February 26, 1977.

Tarrant held various jobs throughout his career, including positions at Vulcan Machinery and Home Oil. He also obtained certifications as a power engineer and millwright. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, hunting, and being involved in the local scouting community.
