AltynGold Sees Record Revenue and Profit on High Gold Prices
AltynGold PLC reported record interim revenue for the half-year period ended June 30, driven by high gold prices and increased gold sales. The Kazakhstan-focused gold exploration and development company saw pretax profit rise 36% to $55.0 million from $40.2 million in the previous year.
Revenue reached a record $115.2 million, up 65% from $70.0 million, as gold sales increased 9.0% to 24,628oz at an average realised gold price of $4,615 per ounce. This is 50% higher than the average gold price of $3,071 per ounce in 2025.
Chair Kanat Assaubayev noted the 'exceptionally supportive' gold price environment, which has preserved a substantial margin over production costs.
