ANRE Rejects Accusations Over Moldova Gas Price Regulations
The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) in Moldova has rejected accusations from Vice President of Parliament Vlad Batrîncea regarding the inclusion of unjustified expenses in natural gas prices.
According to ANRE, only necessary and justified expenses are accepted in the calculation of tariffs, and payments that exceed established values are not paid by consumers.
The agency claims it applies the provisions of the legal framework and ensures transparency in the procedure for approving regulated gas prices.
ANRE also clarified that salaries exceeding minimum wage rates are not included in tariff structures, as well as single prizes and material aids to employees.
