Apollo Ponders $3 Billion Sale of Energos LNG Assets
Apollo Global Management is exploring options for Energos Infrastructure, which could value the floating liquefied natural gas infrastructure provider at over $3 billion.
The investment giant has been in talks with potential bidders, including XRG, the international investment arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, which is offering to take a stake of up to 50% in Energos.
Energos operates 13 floating LNG vessels globally under long-term commercial arrangements, and Apollo formed the company with New Fortress Energy in 2022 before buying out New Fortress' 20% stake in January 2024.
XRG is aiming to build an integrated global gas and LNG business with up to 25 million tons per annum of capacity by 2035.
