Apollo Weighs Sale of Floating LNG Infrastructure Operator Energos
Apollo Global Management is reportedly exploring sale options for its floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure operator, Energos Infrastructure.
The investment giant has been holding talks with prospective bidders in recent weeks and is open to either a full or partial sale of the company, which could value it at more than $3 billion.
One potential bidder is XRG, the international investment arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, which has made an offer to take a stake of up to 50% in Energos.
Energos operates 13 floating LNG vessels and has assets deployed globally under long-term commercial arrangements. Apollo formed the company with New Fortress Energy in 2022 before buying out their 20% stake earlier this year.
