Aramco CEO warns of dangerously low global oil stockpiles
Saudi Aramco's CEO, Amin Nasser, has warned that global oil stockpiles are alarmingly low due to the ongoing US-Iran war. Speaking at the Energy Intelligence Forum in London on Monday, Nasser highlighted that the current supply resilience is dangerously thin. His remarks come just days after the G7 nations agreed to tap into their oil reserves to address growing supply concerns.
Nasser emphasized that the global energy system is already under significant strain. He noted that there are few alternative sources the world can rely on to offset the current supply shortages. This situation, he argued, leaves the global oil market vulnerable to sudden disruptions.
