Aramco Defies Supply Constraints with Q2 Production
Aramco reported total hydrocarbon production of 9.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in Q2, despite 'historical supply constraints' affecting energy markets.
The company attributed its operational resilience and flexibility to its unique ability to adapt to changing market conditions and robust contingency planning.
Upstream adjusted EBIT came in at $50.9 billion in the second quarter, down from $54.1 billion in Q1 due to lower volumes sold of crude oil and higher production royalties.
Aramco is advancing several 'increment projects' to maintain its maximum sustainable capacity (MSC) at 12 million barrels per day, including the Zuluf crude oil increment and phase two of the Dammam development project.
