Aramco Disrupts Crude Supplies to India Amid Pipeline Attack
Saudi Aramco has reportedly halted crude oil supplies to some Indian refiners due to disruptions to Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline. The pipeline attack limits the kingdom's ability to transport crude to its western ports, making it difficult for them to redirect supplies.
The Strait of Hormuz remains disrupted, adding to supply concerns in the global oil market. Brent crude has surged above $105 a barrel, putting pressure on major oil-importing economies like India.
Indian refiners can seek alternative crude supplies from other producers, but securing replacement barrels may become more expensive due to elevated international oil prices.
