Saudi Aramco's appearance at the 2026 World Cup final ceremony was a publicity stunt, but it had significant economic implications. According to Brand Finance, the oil giant added approximately $1.08 billion to its brand value and an expected impact on corporate value of around $26.1 billion.

This made Aramco the top beneficiary among the tournament's official sponsors in terms of economic gains associated with sponsorship. The company alone accounted for 43% of the total corporate value generated by the tournament, amounting to a total of $61 billion.

In comparison, Visa's sponsorship contribution reached approximately $7.8 billion, while Bank of America's and Hyundai's contributions were significantly lower at around $4.9 billion and $4.8 billion respectively.
