Trading activity on Kazakhstan's grain market was relatively quiet last week as most buyers held back from making purchases, waiting for the new harvest to arrive. This cautious approach helped keep food wheat prices stable in the country. However, prices for feed flour did rise due to strong demand from China.

According to APK-Inform Asia, export prices for various types of grain were as follows: Class 3 wheat ranged between $260-270 per ton DAP Saryagash, while Class 4 wheat was priced at $245-255 per ton. High-protein wheat was valued at $285-290 per ton, and feed barley (FOB Aktau) cost $220-225 per ton.

The domestic market also saw some price movements, with Class 3 wheat trading between KZT 105-110 thousand per ton EXW and Class 4 wheat priced at KZT 95-100 thousand per ton. Feed barley was sold for KZT 87-93 thousand per ton.
