Argentina Agro-Export Sector Sees Significant Growth in September
Argentina's agro-export sector saw significant growth in September, bringing in $3.228 billion in foreign currency inflows, up 17% from August.
This is the third-highest September for foreign currency inflows in the past 25 years, according to the Argentine Oil Industry Chamber (CIARA) and the Center for Grain Exporters (CEC).
The organizations, whose members account for 48% of Argentina's exports, noted that September's performance was driven by a steady flow of corn shipments as farmers stepped up sales to exporters.
