Argentina's San Matías Pipeline Consortium Secures $900M Financing for Floating LNG Export Project
The consortium behind Argentina's first large-scale floating LNG export project has secured $900 million in project financing for the dedicated gas pipeline that will feed two floating liquefaction units in the Gulf of San Matías.
The San Matías Pipeline consortium, which includes Pan American Energy, YPF, Pampa Energía, Harbour Energy, and Golar LNG, closed the syndicated financing on Friday. Citi, J.P. Morgan, Santander, and Itaú structured the deal.
The 472-kilometer pipeline is a central component of the $1.3 billion infrastructure program linking the Vaca Muerta shale region with the Río Negro coast.
