Arizona's gas prices have increased for the second week in a row, according to the AAA weekly fuel report. The average price of regular gasoline in the state is now at $4.30 per gallon, marking an 18-cent increase from last week.

This places Arizona seventh on the list of the nation's top 10 most expensive gasoline markets, as reported by AAA. The instability along the Strait of Hormuz and volatility in the region have pushed oil prices into the $90 per barrel range, which could continue driving up costs during the second half of the summer.

Arizona residents are feeling the effects of this surge at the pump, with metro Phoenix seeing a 22-cent increase from last week. Scottsdale and Glendale also saw price hikes, with an average regular gas price of $4.31 in both cities as of July 23.
